US Club Soccer requires all participating players to be registered in GotSport. This system is used by all of US Club Soccer to validate player and coaches eligibility. Some of you might have already used this system if your child participated in a club team or another cities travel program. We will try to keep these instructions up to date. If anything doesn't match your experience, please email admin@bluedevilunited.com to let us know what needs updated.
In order to login, you can navigate to system.gotsport.com to login. Enter your email and password and click Log In.
If you have never logged into GotSport before of you have forgotten your password, click on Forgot Password and enter your email. If your email exists in the GotSport system, you will receive a password reset email.
If you do not receive a password reset email, this more than likely means that the email you have used is not associated to your account and a different email was used. Either try a different email or you can email admin@bluedevilunited.com to find out what email is associated for you.
Depending on the device you log in with, you will see the header experience below. You will be navigated to the Account page when you first login typically. This is your personal Account information, not your child's information. Please do not update this information with your child's information as this will not transfer.
In order to access the needed things for your child, you will need to navigate in the app a little bit. If you are accessing via a desktop, you can click on Family at the top and choose your child's name. You can also click on Family on the left hand sidebar to navigate to a page with all children associated ot your account listed. Choose the child you wish to work on.
On mobile, you need to click on the hamburger menu in the account block in the middle and select Family. Choose the child you wish to work on.
On some screen sizes, you may see a hamburger menu at the top instead of either the mobile or desktop option. Click on the hamburger menu to see the options you would see on desktop.
This will then navigate you to a page that looks the same as the parents when you first login, just associated to your child now. Make sure the name on the account page is your child's name and not yours before moving on.
You need to add a HEADSHOT of your child. The guidelines that should be abided by are the same as a passport photo. It shouldn't be a full body shot of your child, a group of people in a picture or anything else of the sorts. It should be your child from shoulders up.
The process of adding a photo to your child is the same on mobile or desktop. You will add the photo from the account page you are first navigated to when after choosing your childs name from the steps above. While on their account page, choose Choose File in the Photo section. Once you upload your photo, you can then edit the image to crop if needed. Remember, when editing the photo, the photo should be in passport photo style, just shoulder up of your child and be as a recent as possible.
While on your child's account, you can click on the Dashboard button in the top header to get to the requirements for you child that need completed. From this screen, you will see the steps that are necessary to complete to have your child registered. The club handles the Membership Registration Payment Status step so no need to do anything there. In order to complete these steps, you will click on the available forms button. This will then show you three options for forms to complete. You DO NOT need to complete the US Club Soccer id2 form at this point.
For each of the steps, when you click on start, you will see a screen allowing you to choose from two options. Choose the child you are uploading the birth certificate for or completing the form for, not yourself.
For birth certificates, choose the Proof of Birth option and upload your childs birth certificate and click on save.
For the R002 form, you will make sure the first step has the correct information and then add a digital signature and save.
Once the birth certifcate is submitted, US Club Soccer has a process that requires them to approve the information matches your child's information entered in to ensure they are eligible. This can take a couple of days to be completed.
At this point your child has the necessary pieces completed. Just because you submit everything does not mean your child is immediately eligible to play. If there are any issues with the registration process, the Blue Devil United admin or your coach will be in contact to make sure everything is completed. We do ask you to take any registration requests made of your to be completed in a timely fashion. Our goal is to get the children to play and we often need several days to get things properly approved.
The login process will be the same as above for coaches. The only thing different is you do not need to navigate to a family member after logging in. You should be navigated to the Dashbaord page with your requirements that need completed when you first login.
The process is the exact same as for a player. The photo still needs to be a passport type photo. Since you will be navigated to the Dashboard on login, you need to click on Edit to get the Account page for your profile to add a picture.
On the dashboard, all necessary requirements will be listed as either completed, pending review or need completed. Like the players registration, coaches do not need to complete the Membership Registration Payment Status step, the club handles this one. For each of the required steps, you will click on the details link on the right hand side of the row to complete.

Go through the steps as instructed to complete this form. If you have lived internationally for 6 months in a row in the past 7 years, the process is a bit different for submitting the background check. Please email admin@bluedevilunited.com if this condition is met.
Once you complete the form, you will be navigated to a payment screen. The club pays for all background checks. You should see an option to submit or credit card checkout. Choose to submit. This will use available club funds to complete the process. DO NOT use your own credit card to pay for this. If the submit option is not available, please email admin@bluedevilunited.com in order to add more available funds for this.
SafeSport Training is a program designed to educate individuals involved in youth and amateur sports—such as coaches, parents, athletes, and administrators—about how to prevent, recognize, and respond to abuse, harassment, and misconduct in sports settings.
All head coaches, assistant coaches, and managers need to complete this training. While some of the segments of this training might seem irrelevant to our program, this is an important process that has been established by most or sports organizing bodies in the US that we need to take serious.
Every year you must complete some version of SafeSport training. The first year of training is always the most in-depth and subsequent years are refresher courses.
The instructions on the step are easy to follow for what you need to complete. Once you complete your training, you will be given a completion code. This must be added to the bottom of this step to have this requirement completed if it doesnt automatically transfer over.
Each coach must complete and submit a concussion training. This is a step that isn't required by US Club Soccer but is required by OHTSL and most tournaments. There are three different certifications you can choose from. Only one of them needs to be completed. Visit the link below and choose the one you wish to complete.
